The British tourist couple was separated from each other, forced to quarantine in a hotel with ants and cockroaches.
Jamie Lewis and Amy Wyllie spent more than $ 2,300 on a package stay at the five-star Atlantica Grand Med resort in Corfu, Greece in early August. Both tested nCoV on landing and quarantined themselves at the hotel, Wait for results in 24 hours.
Without receiving calls from the authorities, they started their vacation. On the fourth day of the trip, when preparing about to board the yacht, Amy heard that she was positive for nCoV. The government asked the couple to stay in the hotel to wait for the doctor.

Both were taken to the hotel 30 minutes' drive away from where they rented the room. "They brought us in, pointed out rooms, and did not explain further. We stayed in two adjacent rooms. I had to wear pajamas and a towel over my head to avoid cockroaches and ants crawling in the bed," Jamie recalled.
According to the instructions, Jamie and Amy were not allowed to go to each other's room, only able to contact the reception via email. "No one explained why we had to stay in separate rooms. They said if we were found in the same room, they would report to the authorities," Jamie said.
The couple struggled to keep in touch, or because there was no internet. "The room has a small balcony. This is where the couple can see each other, but there is a hive of wasps so we can't stay long."
The TV does not have an English channel, so Jamie and Amy cannot watch entertainment programs. The air conditioner was broken, the outdoor temperature was 30 degrees Celsius. The main food was pasta, bread, and rice. Amy thinks this is a full food, not delicious.
"The chicken is dark, the beef is greasy. I didn't eat it for the first three days because I was tired. I asked the reception if we could order it for ourselves," Jamie said. He ordered a pizza for $ 10. The hotel staff left pizza in front of the room, the cake was filled with wasps.
At the end of 7 days, Jamie could leave because she had a negative result for nCoV, Amy still had to quarantine for another week. The couple is more difficult to contact each other. Jamie had to hire another one to stay near his wife.
Jamie and Amy love vacations, traveling eight times a year. But after what happened in Greece, the couple decided not to travel abroad until there was a vaccine against Covid-19. They share their experiences with friends and family, and many people cancel trips after hearing the story.
