Tottori sandhill is the national natural treasure of the cherry blossom land, attracting over 1 million turns of visitors each year.
The Tottori sandhill comprises 4 giant sand dunes, recognized the Japan national nature treasure. Stretching 2,4 km in the north-south direction and 16 km in the east-west direction, this place is like a desert in the heart of the Tottori city. According to a study, the sandhill was formed during the progress of 100.000 years, near the Japan coastline.
