Fernando de Noronha islands in Brazil only receives tourists once got Covid-19 infection for vacation since September 1.
The local authority website announced, tourists who want to call at the islands of Fernando de Noronha since September 1 must prove they once infect nCoV bu submitting their PCR testing result or serum in advance 20 days.
According to the Brazil disease prevent and control center (CDC), a PCR test will indicate exactly whether you are infectious or not. Limiting in a period of 20 days since getting results means those who are positive with nCoV likely get out of the disease.
Florian Krammer, a scientist, specialist on virus and vaccine at Y Icahn school, in Mount Sinai, New York confirms, those who once get an infection is still possible to get reinfection. CDC is not assuring on this matter.
Fernando de Noronha has likened to a "tropical paradise" with beaches voted as the most beautiful ones in the world. This is one of the most attractive places in Brazil. The islands closed its door since March due to pandemic. At the end of July, this place allowed entry to those who own houses here and researchers.
Brazil now is the worst pandemic outbreak in the world, after the USA records over 3,8 million infection cases and over 120.000 deaths. Fernando de Noronha has confirmed 93 cases and no cases of death as of August 30, according to Reuters.
