After delays due to the pandemic, Vietnam International Tourism Fair (VITM Hanoi 2020) will be held from 18-21 / 11.
The Vietnam Tourism Association has notified the Department of Tourism, promotion agencies, and businesses operating in tourism about the organization of VITM Hanoi 2020 at the Hanoi International Exhibition Center.
Before that, the Tourism Fair was delayed three times due to the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, after 13 days, Vietnam no longer appeared new cases of infection in the community. Measures to prevent the epidemic have been removed. Basically, the epidemic in Vietnam is under control.

Therefore, the organizers decided to organize VITM Hanoi 2020 in the occasion of November. The new theme at this Tourism Fair is "Digital transformation to promote tourism development".
This year's fair will have the participation of businesses developing technology in tourism. At the same time, VITM Hanoi 2020 is also an opportunity to introduce new technologies for tourism businesses.
As of July 9, more than 500 enterprises from 54 provinces across the country have registered to participate in VITM Hanoi 2020. According to information from the organizers, this year's fair also has the participation of 10 countries and territories. They are businesses and promotion agencies of countries including Thailand, Singapore, Japan, Philippines, Korea, UAE, Qatar, Peru and Colombia.
VITM Hanoi 2020 has main activities such as introducing destinations, tourism products, and services of countries, territories, and tourism businesses. Visitors to the Travel Fair will be introduced and have the opportunity to own products such as promotional tours, hotel services, resorts, air tickets ...
VITM is one of the major travel events, held annually in April. In 2019, VITM has attracted about 90,000 visitors and more than 700 participating businesses. The number of tourists who ordered domestic and international tours at the fair was estimated at 30,000, total revenue up to 322 billion VND.
