The beauty of the biggest salt field in the world

Every year, this destination attracts a lot of visitors to call at. The tour of the topography truck is a discovering type chosen by many people. 


Salar de Uyuni is the biggest salt field in the world, stretching 10.500 km2 on the Altiplano plateau (Bolivia). This salt field was formed due to the Altiplano plateau without the outlet of water. So, when the water vaporizes under the harsh sunshine, salt and calcium sulfate still remain on the ground. Along with wind, these salt dunes here constantly change over time. The climate here is harsh, it is very cold at night. It has strong wind and a rain quantity of just 400 mm/year. The giant cactus is the only kind of plant surviving in this weather condition.
