Prince William, Father of Prince George, and Mr. Attenborough attended the outdoor watching session on the grounds of the palace on September 24.

Then, the 94-year-old naturalist spoke to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's three children and gave gifts to Prince George, according to CNN.

The tooth belonged to the extinct shark Carcharocles megalodon. The world-famous naturalist discovered this tooth in limestone rocks on the island of Malta during a family trip in the late 1960s.

The giant shark Megalodon is believed to have an average length of more than 10 meters, according to Encyclopedia Britannica.

On the same day, Mr. Attenborough broke the record of gaining 1 million followers on Instagram in the shortest time, the Guinness Book of World Records said.

After creating an Instagram account to raise awareness about the climate, Mr. Attenborough took just over four hours to reach the milestone.

In his first Instagram post, Mr. Attenborough warned everyone in a video that "the world is in trouble". He also listed examples including melting glaciers.

He promised to shoot more messages in the coming weeks to explain the problems facing the world in climate change and come up with solutions.

The 94-year-old naturalist teamed up with the Duke of Cambridge to create the Earthshot Prize. The award was announced by Prince William last December to help deal with the climate crisis.
