3 unique villages in China, you may not know
China has many impressive and interesting villages with unique features that attract foreign tourists a lot.
Monolithic stone village
The stone city in Bao Son, Yunnan province (China): The entire village with over 100 residences, was built on a giant mushroom-shaped monolithic stone. It has only an exit in the south.
Fossil village
A house with Laoxudian type in Thach Binh district, north Yunnan province: An archeologist who visited this village 2 years ago declared that local residences build their houses by using a type of fossil deem indefinite in this area.
Cliff village
The Hongde village in Thuy Thanh district, Quy Chau province: 2 km away from the nearest railway station, the village seems not lying in a remote mountain.
However, this route is divided by a great mountainous canon, and villagers must go through this canon by a weak manual cable car until the local authority decided to build a bridge in 2012.
